Brief History:
The foundation stone of Wagon Repair Workshop Kota was laid in November, 1957 and the shop
was commissioned in October, 1960. Initially 250 FWU were repaired per month.The capacity was  progressively raised to 750 FWU per month. Now the target is 430 vehicle unit per month. 
Workshop is  ISO-9001  certified and equipped to undertake POH and ROH of all types of BG
wagons of Indian Railways.           .
